This newsletter is to inform you that the 2010 Joliet Street Resurfacing Project is tentatively scheduled to begin the week of June 21, 2010. Construction is scheduled to be completed by September 3, 2010.

The proposed work includes milling and resurfacing Joliet Street along with intermittent curb and gutter removal and replacement and new pavement striping.  Project locations include the following:

• Joliet Street between IL Route 59 and IL Route 38 (Roosevelt Road),
• Joliet Street between IL Route 38 and Geneva Street.

Driveway access may be periodically restricted during construction.  Please note all construction activities are scheduled between 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday.  Traffic will be restricted during the construction hours but all streets will be fully open to traffic at the end of each business day.

Este boletín es para informarle que el Proyecto de Volver a Asfaltar la Calle Joliet 2010 está provisionalmente programado para empezar la semana del 21 de junio de 2010.  La construcción está programada para ser terminada para el 3 de septiembre de 2010.

El trabajo propuesto incluye el remoler y volver a asfaltar la Calle Joliet junto con la removida y reemplazo intermitente de orilla y alcantarilla y removida de pavimento nuevo.  Los sitios de proyecto incluyen lo siguiente:

• Calle Joliet  entre la Ruta 59 de IL y Ruta 38 de IL (Carretera Roosevelt),
• Calle Joliet entre la Ruta 38 de IL y Calle Geneva.

El acceso a la entrada de carro puede ser periódicamente restringido durante la construcción.  Por favor note que todas las actividades de construcción para este proyecto están programadas entre 7:00 AM y 6:00 PM, lunes a viernes y 8:00 AM y 6:00 PM el sábado.  El tráfico será restringido durante las horas de construcción pero todas las calles estarán abiertas al tráfico al final de cada día de negocio.
