There are two lots available for commuter parking. The Permit Parking Lot and the Daily Parking Lot. Located on Main Street in downtown West Chicago, the Metra lot is easily accessible to commuters.
Permit Parking
There is currently a 12 to 18 month wait list for issuance of a permit parking tag. The charge for permit parking is $75.00 per quarter (3rd quarter '08 billing - beginning 7/1/08)

Daily Parking
The current cost of daily parking is $1.25 for a 24-hour period. Pay-by-space machines are located at the south end of the daily lot.
Debit cards for use at the daily parking lot are available at City Hall for a charge of $20.00, $3.00 of which is a service charge with the balance of $17.00 for daily parking.
Spots 146-165 are designated for multiple-day parking only and the following charges apply:
$4 for two days (48 hours)
$14 for three days (72 hours - maximum of consecutive days allowed.)
Handicap Parking
Handicap parking is located in the permit lot, near the train depot.
Free Parking
Available at both lot locations on Saturday and Sunday, beginning at 12:00 a.m. Saturday through 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
Free parking is available on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
