An exciting chapter in the history of West Chicago is about to unfold. With the completion of Phase II of the Central-Main Street Redevelopment Plan, the City is getting closer to realizing its goals to bridge the gap from east Main Street and Route 59 to the central downtown district and to revitalize its historic center.

Through a strategy that incorporates a combination of mixed-use development with a strong component of residential in the form of row house and condominium units, commercial development that will reinvigorate existing business and parking options to support a pedestrian friendly environment, the vision of a vibrant downtown with a unique niche becomes a reality.
