The West Chicago Police Department Records Section is staffed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. If you call the police department after 7 pm, or on weekends and holidays, your call will automatically be transferred to our dispatch center. The phone will ring two to three times; then it will sound like you were disconnected. Don’t hang up -- it is actually starting the transfer. If you wait a few seconds, it will begin to ring again and dispatch will answer the phone.
