Administrative Division

The Administrative Division is responsible for providing logistical support to the Patrol and Investigation Divisions. The Administrative Division consists of Administrative Services, Records Section, Crime Analysis Unit and Social Services.

• Administrative Services is responsible for the preparation and administration of the department’s budget, purchasing, uniforms and equipment, property control, and fleet support.

• The Records Section is responsible for the accurate recording and presentation of data submitted by department personnel. The Section provides customer service to the citizens and agencies requiring reports for documentation.

• The Crime Analysis Unit is responsible for the systematic analysis of criminal activities to identify trends and patterns.

• The Social Services Unit is responsible for the effective delivery and facilitation of bilingual social services to victims of crime and their families. The Social Services Unit is also responsible for the operation of our two Neighborhood Resource Centers located within the Main Park and Riverwoods Apartment Complexes.
