The Support Services Division is directed by Deputy Chief Mike Uplegger

There are four Units in the Support Services Division:

• Administrative Services Unit
  • The Unit responsibility consists of accreditation, budgeting, purchasing, quartermaster, property control and fleet support. The Unit is to provide equipment and support to the Department in furtherance of the Departments duties.
• Records Unit
  • The Unit responsibility consists of the accurate recording and presentation of data submitted by department personnel. The Units is to provide customer service to citizens and outside agencies requiring reports or documentation.
• Crime Analysis Unit
  • The Unit responsibility is to perform systematic analysis for identifying and analyzing patterns and trends in crime and disorder. The Units is to accumulate, analyze and disseminate analyzed data to the Patrol, SOU and Investigations Sections in furtherance of their duties.
• Social Services Unit
  • Social Services Section
    • The Unit responsibility is to facilitate the effective delivery of bi-lingual services and resources to the victims of crime and their families by way of:
      • Comprehensive information & referral service
      • Individual and family counseling
      • Senior citizen intervention
      • Assistance to crime victims
      • Assistance to the homeless
      • Community education
      • Court advocacy & support for Order of Protection
  • Resource Center Programs
    • The Centers provide after school tutoring and life skills training to students in need by way of grants awarded the Police Department.
      • Westwood Resource Center
      • Main Park Resource Center
      • Lorlyn Resource Center
