Spray and Pay Reward Program
This anti-graffiti program is designed to arrest and punish the offenders while at the same time rewarding citizens, who help the police to combat it. The City's "Spray and Pay Reward Program" will give citizens up to $200 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of graffiti vandals. To be eligible for a reward through the program, simply call the tip hotline at (630) 231-1711 and follow the instructions. After submitting a claim form, notification of the status of the claim will be made. Claim forms are available at the West Chicago Police Department or by contacting the Graffiti Control Program hotline at (630) 231-1711.  You may also complete and submit the form on-line.

Vacation Watch
This free program makes available residential security check for vacationing or hospitalized residents of single-family homes or duplexes. Uniformed members of the West Chicago Police Department periodically check registered homes during the homeowner’s absence. During the security check of a residence, the members of the Department conduct a foot patrol on the property to insure the home is secured and that windows and doors are locked and undamaged. A careful log is kept of what activity is conducted on the property while the resident is away. If, by chance, a burglary occurs at the residence, the individual who the homeowner has specified as an emergency contact will be notified.
