Museum & Cultural Services
The City Museum and Cultural Services Department functions as an educational department as well as a cultural resource department for West Chicago by promoting the City and its rich history through a variety of outreach programs, changing exhibits, tours, publications, and special events.
These opportunities are designed for a wide range of audiences. The West Chicago City Museum collects, stores, and conserves two and three-dimensional artifacts representing the collective history of the community and its residents. It also maintains an extensive local history research file for use by the community.
