 West Chicago, Illinois: December 2, 2010 – Gallery 200, the creative oasis at 200 Main Street in downtown West Chicago proudly presents Wonderful & Wearable an eclectic selection of handmade jewelry, leatherwork and textile accessories crafted by local and area artists during the month of December. The show and sale is a repeat performance of last year's highly successful event which drew people from surrounding communities to browse and buy unique wearable art pieces.
The artists that are featured are as interesting as the pieces they create, and this year include: Cathy Linegar, Gwendolyn Hines, Heide Morris, Laura Nicholson-Tom, Marge Hall, Sue Weibler, Cecily Herby, Joanne Kalchbrenner, Sue Weibler and Britta Renwick.
Wonderful & Wearable is perfectly timed for the month of December to showcase the prolific artistic talent that resides in and around West Chicago, while offering those that appreciate beautiful artisan-crafted jewelry and accessories the opportunity to purchase a one-of-a-kind piece for everyone on their holiday gift list at an affordable price. An Opening Reception, at which you can meet the artists, will be held on Friday, December 3, 2010, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Gallery 200, 200 Main Street, West Chicago. Wonderful & Wearable will run throughout the month of December.
