West Chicago Community High School
Chamber Choir Holiday Concert

Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.

We are honored to host the West Chicago Community High School A Cappella Chamber Choir who will perform a holiday concert, led by choir director Brandon Fantozzi.

The A Cappella Chamber Choir is comprised of highly dedicated and motivated student musicians. They are accepted into the group, upon completion of an encompassing audition while being required to be a member of one of CHS’s other curricular choral ensembles. The students range in grade level from sophomore through seniors and are required to attend rehearsal daily at 7:00 a.m. Their dedication level is high as they prepare between twenty and twenty-five holiday pieces ranging from traditional German and Latin settings to contemporary choral arrangements of holiday favorites. The ensemble has the opportunity to showcase their work at over fifteen performances between Thanksgiving and Winter Break.

The A Capella Chamber Choir is under the direction of Brandon Fantozzi who is currently in his tenth year of teaching choral music. This marks Mr. Fantozzi’s 8th year as Choral Director at Community High School while having the fortunate experience of being a 1995 graduate of CHS as well.

Please bring your family and friends for this extra special holiday event. Refreshments will be served.
