Nomination Packets Available for West Chicago Consolidated Election

West Chicago, Illinois: October 18, 2010 - As a service of the City Clerk's Office, information packets and forms are available at the West Chicago City Hall, 475 Main Street, for prospective candidates for the April 5, 2010, Consolidated Election. Offices up for election are as follows:

Alderman: four-year term; one each in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th Wards

Candidates wishing to run for these offices must file their appropriate documents during the period December 13 - 17, 2010, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and December 20, 2010, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at West Chicago City Hall. Names will be placed on the ballot in the order in which they are filed. If two or more candidates file at the same time on the first day of filing, (or received in the first mail) a lottery will be held on December 21, 2010, at 2:00 pm, at City Hall, to determine the order in which those candidates' names will appear on the ballot.
