Audition Notice for West Chicago's Gallery Theater

West Chicago, Illinois: August 25, 2011 -The Gallery Theater announces auditions for the mystery spoof Test of Wills. Auditions will be held at Gallery 200/STUDIO, 203 Turner Court, in West Chicago on September 12, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. and September 15, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. There will be cold readings from the script, with the option of presenting a monologue. Appointments are not required to audition. All roles are open. This is an entertaining, tongue-in-cheek mystery that is a lot of fun for the audience and the actors. The play takes place at the reading of a will. However, when more than one will is uncovered, the plot definitely thickens. Audiences will question the characters and before the evening is concluded, they will have an opportunity to name the prime suspect.

The cast includes an attorney for the deceased, a sexy gold digger, a prim executive secretary, an outrageous diva, the wealthy man's overly protective housekeeper, and of course, a detective. These interesting parts range in age from 20 to 80. Performance dates are October 28 & 29, 2011. If you need additional information, please email gallerytheater@gmail.com or call (630) 639-0594.

The Gallery Theater is a cultural initiative supported by the City of West Chicago and the West Chicago Cultural Arts Commission, and is one more reason West Chicago was named an Illinois Arts Friendly Community.
