2010 Powis Road Resurfacing Project

West Chicago, Illinois: July 1, 2010 - The City of West Chicago has announced the 2010 Powis Road Resurfacing Project is tentatively scheduled to begin the week of July 5, 2010. Construction is scheduled to be completed by August 27, 2010.
The proposed work includes milling and resurfacing Powis Road along with guardrail removal and replacement and new pavement striping. Project locations include the following:
- Powis Road between IL Route 64 (North Avenue) and Smith Road.
Driveway access may be periodically restricted during construction. Please note all construction activities are scheduled between 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Traffic will be restricted during the construction hours, but all streets will be fully open to traffic at the end of each business day.
