West Chicago, Illinois: January 4, 2008 - A love of animals and
nature is a common theme for those participating in Fredericka and Friends, an exhibit of the
works of local artists during the January Featured Artist series at
Gallery 200.
Combining the gift of time during
retirement with her passion for dogs and drawing, Fredericka Krauss
Howard specializes in colored pencil. She is joined, for the near
month-long exhibit by Lori Majcen, who creates pencil portraits from
photography; Gail Adams Diedrichsen, whose interests include wood
burning and drawing; and Katy Runyan Swanson, who captures her love
of nature through digital photography.
Fredericka and
Friends will
run from January 4 – 27, 2008, with a free Opening Reception
on Friday, January 11, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. Gallery 200 is located at 200
